Section 1 in The Himachal Pradesh Holdings (Consolidation and Prevention of Fragmentation) Act, 1971
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Holdings (Consolidation and Prevention of Fragmentation) Act, 1971.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Himachal Pradesh.(3)This section shall come into force at once and the remaining provisions of the Act shall come into force in such areas and from such date as the State Government may by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in this behalf and different dates may be appointed for the coming into force of different provisions of the Act for different parts of the State.
