Section 9(2) in The Orissa Glanders and Farcy Rules, 1941
(2)If a diseased horse dies or is destroyed under the Act, the owner or person in charge of it shall, as soon as possible, and with all due care for the prevention of contagion to other horses and to human beings, cause the carcass to be taken to a suitable place to be there burnt, buried, or otherwise disposed of there, in the safest and most efficacious manner practicable.
