72E. [ Rent of holdings vested in Government but riot assigned to cultivating tenants. [Substituted by Act No. 35 of 1969.]
- Where in respect of any holding or part thereof, the right, title and interest of the landowner and intermediaries have vested in the Government under Section 72 and the cultivating tenant is not entitled to the assignment of such right, title and interest by virtue of Sub-section (1) of Section 728, the cultivating tenant shall be liable to pay to the Government the rent payable under this Act from the date of vesting under Section 72.]
