Section 444D in The U.P. Co-operative Societies Rules, 1968

The provisions relating to election in a co-operative society or a class or classes of co-operative societies as contained in these rules shall, notwithstanding the provisions of the bye-laws of such society, apply for conducting election in a cooperative society.]
