Section 6(1) in The Merchant Shipping (Cargo Ship Construction And Survey) Rules, 1974
(1)In every ship the electrical equipment and installations, including any electrical means of propulsion shall be such that the ship and all persons on board are protected against electrical hazards and shall conform to the standards accepted by the Central Government.
