ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.102 of 2023 on the file of the first respondent.
2. Heard Mr.K.Balu, learned counsel for petitioners and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for first respondent.
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that investigation has been completed and draft final report is also ready to be filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Gingee.
4. In the light of the above development, the relief as sought for by the petitioners cannot be granted. The first respondent is directed to file the final report before the Judicial Magistrate, Gingee, within a period of two (2) weeks from today. If ultimately, the Judicial Magistrate takes cognizance and summons is issued to the petitioners and the petitioners are aggrieved by the same, it will be left open to them to work out their remedy in accordance with law.
