(3)All locks in use in a jail should be examined daily and any lock found out of order, brought to the Deputy Superintendent who shall replace it with a serviceable one.Note. - Lever locks should not be lubricated with vegetable oil, as it causes the levers to stick and renders the lock easy to pick.
