Section 7(1) in The Juvenile Justice (Punjab) Rules, 1987
(1)The competent authority making an order under sub-section (1) of section 51 may direct the parent or other person liable to maintain the juvenile to pay to the competent authority in advance in the beginning of each month such sum of money as the competent authority may think fit as contribution towards the maintenance of such juvenile.
