Section 2(3) in The Tamil Nadu Borstal Schools Act, 1925
(3)"Inspector-General" shall mean the Inspector-General of Prisons and shall include any officer appointed by the [State Government] [Words 'Provincial Government' was substituted for the words 'Local Government' by the Adaptation Order of 1937 and the word 'State' was substituted for 'Provincial' by the Adaptation Order of 1950.] to perform all or any of the duties imposed by this Act on the Inspector-General;
