(1)There shall be the same classes of Revenue Officers under this Act, as under the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887, (XVII of 1887) and in the absence of any order of the [State] [Substituted for the word 'Provincial' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] Government to the contrary, a Revenue Officer of any class having jurisdiction within any local limits under that shall be a Revenue Officer of the same class having jurisdiction within the same local limits under this Act.
