Section 29(2) in The Orissa Grama Panchayats Act, 1964
(2)Any person guilty of an election offence under this section shall be punishable on conviction with fine which may extend to rupees one hundred and when the offence is a continuing one with a further fine which may extend to five rupees for everyday after the date of the first conviction, during which the offender is proved to be a persistent committer of the offence.
