Section 3(2) in The Rajasthan Mining Settlement Act, 1956
(2)The State Government shall consider any objection or suggestion in regard to the intended declaration which may be submitted to it in writing by any person within a period to be specified in this behalf in the notification issued under sub- section (j) and may then, by notification, declare the said area or portion thereof to be, for the purposes of this Act, a Mining Settlement.
