Section 88 in Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in Lok Sabha
88. Submission of Bill clause by clause.
- Notwithstanding anything contained in these rules, the Speaker may, when a motion that a Bill be taken into consideration has been carried, submit the Bill, or any part of the Bill to the House clause by clause. The Speaker may call each clause separately, and, when the amendments relating to it have been dealt with, shall put the question: "That this clause (or, that this clause as amended, as the case may be) do stand part of the Bill".
