Prescribed officer under section 7(1).-The prescribed officer for the purposes of sub-section (1) of section 7 shall be the officer commanding the Army, Army corps, division, or brigade or any equivalent formation with which the person subject to the Act under clause (i) of sub-section (1) of section 2 is for the time being serving.
