63. Power to summon witnesses and to record their statements.
- Any officer authorised under this Act to conduct any enquiry may exercise all such powers connected with the summoning of witnesses and recording their statements and the production of documents as are conferred on Civil Courts by the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (Central Act 5 of 1908) and every such enquiry shall be deemed a judicial proceeding.
