Section 97(1) in Delhi Prisons (Inspection, Meetings and Duties of Officers) Rules, 1988
(1)All official and non-official visitors, casual visitors admitted by order of the Superintendent, Inspector General or District Magistrate as well as the higher officials of the jail, shall ordinarily be exempt from being searched.
