(4)It shall apply to tea plantations and tea factories [within the State Assam] [Inserted by Assam Act No. 32 of 2017, dated 19.7.2017.];Provided that tea factory or tea plantation to which this Act has become applicable shall continue to be so applied notwithstanding that number of persons employed therein at any time after it has become so applicable falls below ten.
