(1)A person may be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor or an officer specially authorised by him in this behalf as a teacher or an employee of the University by a contract in writing which shall not contain any condition contrary to any provision of this Act, the Statutes and the Ordinances of the University.(2)The original contract shall be kept on the record of the University and a copy thereof shall be given to the person employed.
