Section 10 in The Allotment of Government Residences (General Pool) Rules, 1990
10. Commencement of allotment.
- An allotment shall be effective from the date on which the residence is accepted by the officer. The allottee shall intimate acceptance of allotment to the Estate Officer within seven days of receipt of the order of allotment.
