Section 33(1) in Tamil Nadu Court-Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1955

(1)In a suit to recover the money due on a mortgage, fee shall be computed on the amount claimed;Explanation. - It is immaterial that sale of the mortgaged property is not prayed for.
