Section 12(1) in The Maharashtra Self-Financed Schools (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2012
(1)[Any registered company or a registered trust] [Substituted 'Any registered trust' by Maharashtra Act No. 39 of 2018, dated 15.5.2018.] or a registered society or a local authority running an existing school may, at its option apply for up-gradation of the school on self-financed basis under this Act and shall abide by the orders or directions issued by the State Government in this regard.
