Section 1 in THE CONSTITUTION (TWENTY-SEVENTH AMENDMENT) ACT, 1971
1. Short title and commencement.-
(1)This Act may be called the Constitution (Twenty-seventh Amendment) Act, 1971.(2)This section and section 3 shall come into force at once and the remaining provisions of this Act shall come into force on such date_663, being a date not earlier than the day appointed under clause (b) of section 2 of the North- Eastern Areas (Reorganisation) Act, 1971, as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
