(2)Every inmate shall also, as soon as possible after his admission, be examined by the Visiting Medical Officer, who shall enter or cause to be entered in a book to be kept for the purpose, a record of the state of the inmate's health, vaccination and of any wounds or marks on his person and any observation which the Medical Officer thinks fit to add.
