Section 2(k) in The U.P. Regulation of Coaching Act, 2002
(k)'teacher', in relation to an institution, means a person employed by the institution for imparting instruction or guiding or conducting research in an}' branch of learning and includes the Principal, the Director or the Headmaster, as the case may be, of the institution;
