25.
The superintendent in charge of a settlement shall satisfy himself that every settler residing in the settlement is provided with sufficient means of subsistence and he shall report forthwith to the [Director of Correctional Services] [Substituted by G. N. of 4.7.1973.] if there be any difficulty in this respect.
