Section 18(1)(ii) in Bihar School Examination Board Act, 2019

(ii)Chief Vigilance Officer. - Chief vigilance officer shall be the head of vigilance wing. His duty shall be to prevent and detect corruption and other malpractices in the head quarter offices and regional offices of the Board and to recommend appropriate action against such employees, found to have indulged in corrupt practices, which are prejudicial to the interest of the Board.
