Section 2(g) in U.P. Technical University Act, 2000
(g)"Technical education" means programmes of education, research and training in Engineering, Technology', Architecture, Management, Town planning, pharmacy and Applied Arts and Crafts and such other programmes or areas as the Central Government may in consultation with the all India Council for Technical Education, by notification in the Gazette declare;
