(1)In section 1, for sub-section (2), the following shall be substituted, namely;"(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Telangana:Provided that on and from the date of commencement of the Telangana Prohibition Act, 1995 the provisions of this Act shall, in so far as they are inconsistent with the provisions of the said Act cease to operate.";
