Section 8(1) in The Karnataka Electricity Supply Undertakings (Acquisition) Act, 1974
(1)In respect of property vesting in the Government under section 4 every person in whose possession or custody or under whose control the property may be, shall deliver up the property to such officer or authority appointed by the Government for the purpose, forthwith and until it is delivered such person shall from the vesting date be deemed to be in possession, custody or control of the property on behalf of the Government.
