Section 17(1) in The Khadi and Village Industries Commission Rules, 2006
(1)Save as hereinafter provided, a member of the Board, other than a member of the Commission shall hold office for such period not exceeding three years as may be specified in the notification of his appointment published in the Official Gazette and shall be eligible for re-appointment.
