- This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Estates Land Act, 1908.It shall come into force on the first day of July 1908;and it shall extend to the whole of the [State of Tamil Nadu] [Repealed by section 3 of, and the Second Schedule to, the Madras Repealing and Amending Act, 1957 (Madras Act XXV of 1957).] except the Presidency Town and the portion of the Nilgiri district known as the South-East Wynaad.
