20. Provisional payment of price.
(1)The District Opium Officer shall, having regard to the weight and consistence of opium delivered by individual cultivators, work out the weight of such opium at the standard consistence and determine provisionally the total price payable to such cultivators.(2)The said officer, shall, pay to the cultivators, ninety per cent. of the price so determined which shall be subject to adjustment against the final price payable to the cultivators to be determined as provided hereinafter.
