Section 15(A) in The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of Technical Education Act, 2002
(A)the Academic Committee shall-(i)consider all academic matters relating to the examination conducted by the Board, including the conditions to be fulfilled and tests to be passed by the candidates and report thereon to the Board;(ii)recommend to the board syllabi and courses of study for the examination held by the Board after considering the recommendation of the committee on courses;(iii)constitute sub-committees for preparation and revision of syllabi in various courses;(iv)advise the Board on general matters relating to technical and vocational education : and(v)constitute such other sub-committee and delegate such powers to it as it may consider necessary :
