Section 8 in Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University Act, 1987
8. Chancellor.
(1)The Governor of the State shall be the ex-officio Chancellor of the University.(2)The Chancellor may give any direction, take any action and do anything as may be necessary under the provisions of this Act and the Statutes.
