1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Mr. M. Raju is presently holding office of Commissioner/Secretary to Government, General Administration Department, Civil Secretariat Jammu/Srinagar. He further submits that he be substituted in place of Mr. Sanjeev Verma, Commissioner Secretary to Govt. General Administration Department, Jammu.

2. His prayer is allowed. Mr. M. Raju, Commissioner/Secretary to Government, General Administration Department, Civil Secretariat Jammu/Srinagar is substituted as respondent No. 1 in place of Mr. Sanjeev Verma.

3. Registry to update the index accordingly. 2 ROBSW No. 7/2024 in CPSW No. 540/2018

4. An application has been filed by the respondent No. 1/contemnor seeking exemption from his personal appearance before the Court on 04.03.2025.

5. For the reasons stated in the application the same is allowed. Personal appearance of respondent No. 1 is exempted for today only.

6. Application stands disposed of.

7. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the respondents that the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India has condoned the delay and tagged the SLP preferred by the respondents with another SLP(C) No. 25840/2018.

8. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that respondents have not been able to get any relief from the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. He has further drawn the attention of this Court towards the SLP with which the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India has tagged the SLP preferred by the respondents in the instant contempt petition. A perusal of the same reveals that in some of the cases, the respondents have reinstated the respondents therein.

9. In view of this, five days' time is granted to the respondents to file compliance report, failing which, the respondent No. 1 shall remain present in person before the Court on the next date of hearing.

10. List on 10.03.2025.
