Facts: i
1. Both parties were heard on 28/4/2010.
2. The appellant has grievances relating to payment of conveyance allowances for blind and orthopaedically handicapped employees. The CPIO furnished the information on the basis of inputs received from the concerned department. The appellant was, however, not satisfied. Hence, this appeal before the Commission.
3. During the hearing, the CPIO clarified the issues relating to conveyance allowances. He agreed to provide a proper response to the appellant within one month.
Decision:
4. As agreed during the hearing, the CPIO has furnished the required information a copy of which has also been endorsed to the Commission.

5. As there are no provisions under the Act for redressal of the grievances of employees of the respondent, the appellant is advised to approach the competent authority, which may do the needful for redressal of his grievances regarding payment of conveyance allowances.
6. With these observations, the appeal is disposed of.
