(6)Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-sections (1) to (5), if at any time the Government are of the opinion that the affairs of the University are not managed in furtherance of the objects of the University or in accordance with the provisions of this Act and the Statutes, Ordinances and Regulations made thereunder or that special measures are desirable to maintain the standards of teaching of the University, the Government may indicate to the University any matter in regard to which consider to have an explanation and call upon the University to offer such explanation within such time as may be specified by the Government.
