(17)Presentation of Petition.-(i) An election petition shall be presented within 30 days from the date on which the result of the election in question is announced by the Returning Officer.(ii)The election petition may be presented in person, or sent by registered post, to the Vice-Chancellor, by any candidate to such election or by any elector.
