Section 14(2) in The Jammu and Kashmir Passengers Taxation Act, 1963
(2)The [Assessing authority] [Substituted by Act XIX of 1981, section 17] seizing a licence under sub-section (i) shall give to the person surrendering the licence a temporary acknowledgement therefor and such acknowledgement shall authorise the holder to driver until the licence has been returned to him or the Court has otherwise ordered.
