Section 155 in The Manipur Municipalities Act,1994.
155. Supply of drinking water.-
(1)EVery Nagar Panchayat or as the case may be the Council shall provide or arrange for the provision of a sufficient supply of drinking water for the inhabitants of the areas within its jurisdiction.(2)Every Nagar Panchayat, or as the case may be. the Council shall provide sufficient and regular supply of drinking water fit for human consumption or for domestic purpose within the jurisdiction of the Nagar Panchayat, or of the Council.
