(3)Every person, who,—(a)brings into a naval prison or naval detention quarters or to or for any prisoner or person undergoing detention, without the knowledge of the officer having charge or command thereof, any money, clothing, provisions, tobacco, letters, papers, or other articles not allowed by the rules of the prison or naval detention quarters, to be in the possession of a prisoner or person undergoing detention, or(b)throws into the said prison or naval detention quarters, any such articles, or by desire of any prisoner or person undergoing detention, without the sanction of the said officer carried out of the prison or naval detention quarters any of the articles aforesaid,shall for every such offence be punished with a fine not exceeding two hundred rupees.
