Section 8(3) in Chakma Autonomous District Council (Village Councils) Act, 2002
(3)Every member of the Village Council and the Secretary may at any time by writing under his/her hand, submit his/her resignation through the President to the Executive committee. The Executive Committee shall arrange to elect or appoint as the case may be, substitute as soon as possible.
