Section 3(d) in The M.P. Vinirdishta Bhrashta Acharan Nivaran Adhiniyam, 1982
(d)"officer of the works department" means the officer, whatever be the designation, employed in the works department and concerned with the survey, construction, repairs, maintenance, supervision, planning, drawing, designing, purchase, supply or storage of goods, mechanically propelled or electrically operated vehicles of all descriptions, plants, machinery, tools, spares or all other materials, or equipments and includes an officer or official responsible to make payment of bills and advances, in relation to the work;
