Section 16(1) in The Karnataka State Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University Act, 2016
(1)The Vice Chancellor shall be the principal executive and academic head of the University and shall exercise general supervision and control over the affairs of the University and give effect to the decisions of the Authorities of the University. He shall have full powers for maintaining discipline in the University.
