(1)The Reformatory Schools Act, 1897 and [section 27 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973,] [Substituted for the word "section 29-B and section 399 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898" by the Act 15 of 1978, section 18] shall cease to apply to any area in which this Act has been brought into force.
