Section 9(4) in The Bombay Weights and Measures Act, 1932
(4)A working standard shall not be deemed legal, or be used for the purposes of this Act, unless it has been verified or re-verified and marked in the prescribed manner within such period as may be prescribed before the time at which it is used.A working standard which has become defective shall not be legal, or be used for the purposes of this Act, until it has been re verified and marked in the prescribed manner.
