Section 6 in The Maharashtra Municipal Corporations Act, 1949
6. Provision for municipality or local authority which is superseded or dissolved. - Any reference in the above paragraphs of a municipality or a local authority shall, in case such municipality or local authority has been superseded or dissolved be deemed to be a reference to the person or persons appointed to exercise the powers or to perform the functions of such municipality or local authority under any law relating to such municipality or local authority.
[6A. Special Conditions for erection and re-erection of buildings etc., in certain areas. - (1) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, until bye-laws are made under section 458 or until the expiration of one year from the date on which any local area is constituted or included in a City under section 3, whichever is earlier, the Corporation may prescribe special conditions with respect to erection or re-erection of buildings, the maximum heights of buildings, roofs and external walls of buildings, set-backs of buildings and other matter relating to buildings in the area constituted or included in a City or any part thereof.(2)No person shall erect or re-erect any building or commence the execution of any work in contravention of any such conditions.]
