Section 70(2)(a) in The Khadi And Village Industries Commission Employees (Pension) Regulations, 1984

(a)For the purpose of determination of emoluments for family pension and death-cum-retirement gratuity, the Head of Office shall confine the verification of the correctness of emoluments for a maximum period of one year preceding the date of death of the employee.
