(8)The Government may reconstitute the council before expiry of the period notified under sub-section (1) or sub-section (2).Provided that where the reminder of the period for which the dissolved Municipality would have continued is less than six months, it shall not be necessary to hold any elections under this clause for constituting the Municipality for such period.
