The present application under Section 482 of the Code of the Criminal Procedure, 1973, has been instituted on behalf of the applicant/petitioner, praying as follows:-

"In view of the facts and circumstances stated above, it is most humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to:

A. Grant permission to the Petitioner/Applicant to withdraw Crl. M.A. No. 4538/2018 as not pressed in order to pursue his Application dated 08.08.2022 under Section 437/ 439 Cr.P.C. seeking regular bail, currently pending adjudication before the Court of Signature Not Verified Digitally Signed W.P.(CRL) 739/2018 Page 1 of 2 By:DURGESH NANDAN Signing Date:29.08.2022 16:17:16 the Ld. Special Judge (PC Act) (CBI-09) (MPs/ MLAs Cases), Rouse Avenue Courts, New Delhi; B. Any other order(s) as may be deemed fit and necessary in the interests of justice."

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. Karti P Chidambaram, the applicant/petitioner, limits his prayer to merely seeking leave to withdraw the earlier Crl. M.A. No. 4538/2018, which is pending adjudication before this Court.

In view of the circumstance that the petitioner is axiomatically the dominus litis, the limited prayer made on his behalf, is granted.

The present application is allowed and disposed of accordingly. The applicant/petitioner is permitted to withdraw the earlier Crl. M.A. No. 4538/2018.
